			Pastor Parish Committee
			The major task of this committee is to try to strengthen the relationship between the pastors and the congregation as partners in a covenantal relationship-one that calls for mutual trust, support, and accountability. Members' duties are to advise the pastors and Cabinet to clarify the goals and objectives of the church; help create open communication between the congregation and the pastors; make sure that all parties meet their commitments in meeting the goals of the church; and to provide a framework in which any conflict can be dealt creatively. The committee may seek guidance from Prairie Association staff, if and when it is necessary. This committee meets as often as needed, though by statute, at least four times per year.
